This Privacy Policy describes how SEF Ventures LLC (doing business as Spectral) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our AI agent optimization platform at runspectral.com (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data You Provide

• Agent Prompts & Configurations: When you upload or paste agent prompts, system instructions, JSON configs, or YAML files for diagnostic analysis.
• Test Cases: Input/output examples you provide or that are synthetically generated during onboarding.
• Contact Information: Email address, if voluntarily provided during the upload flow or via direct communication.
• API Keys: If you generate API keys through the platform for programmatic access.

1.2 Data Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Pages viewed, features used, scan history, and interaction patterns within the dashboard.
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device information.
• Scan Results: Evaluation scores, failure clusters, optimization recommendations, and improvement deltas generated by our analysis engine.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Analysis & Optimization: Prompts and configurations are processed solely to generate diagnostic reports, identify failure patterns, and produce optimization recommendations.
• Service Operation: To maintain, improve, and secure the platform.
• Communication: To send diagnostic reports and respond to support requests (only if you provide an email address).

3. Data Security

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security).
• Encryption at Rest: Stored data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
• Access Controls: Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel and governed by the principle of least privilege.
• Infrastructure: The Service is hosted on Railway with managed PostgreSQL databases that include automated backups and network isolation.

4. What We Do NOT Do

• No Third-Party Sharing: We never share, sell, or license your prompts, configurations, or scan results to third parties.
• No Training on Customer Data: Your prompts and agent data are never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI/ML models — ours or anyone else's.
• No Advertising: We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or behavioral targeting.

5. Data Retention

• Prompts & Scan Results: Retained for 90 days from the date of upload or scan completion, then permanently deleted — unless you explicitly request extended retention.
• Account Data: Retained for the duration of your use of the Service, plus 30 days after account closure.
• Deletion Requests: You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party AI providers (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) to perform LLM-based evaluation and analysis. When prompts are sent to these providers for processing:

• Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
• Both Anthropic and Google have committed to not training on API inputs under their commercial terms.
• No personally identifiable information is intentionally included in API calls beyond the prompt content you provide.

7. Cookies & Tracking

The Service does not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising pixels. We use only essential, session-level data for functionality purposes.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Receive your data in a portable format.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
